The 4A preseason poll in the 2010 Indiana Football Digest gives no respect to Lowell or Region Football.

1. Reitz
2. Dwenger
3. Cathedral
4. East Central
5. Concord
6. Delta
7.Lowell
8. Morton
9.plymouth
10. Griffith

The past 3 years there has been "the big 4" in 4a. Lowell, Reitz, Dwenger, Cathedral. These 4 teams have played in semi-state together 3 years in a row. Out of the 4 teams Lowell has the most returning starters. Dwenger loses a ton on offense as does Reitz. Cathedral loses a ton on both sides of the ball (according to the football digest). Also "Dwenger will have their work cut out for them if they want to lose less than 2 games this year" (quoted from the digest) Also Lowell beat Dwenger and gave Reitz their biggest fight of the season.

With that being said why is Lowell ranked 7th??? Concord returns a lot of starters and should score a lot but their defense was terrible and very slow last year (Lowell scored 63 on them and could have kept going) Delta returns a lot but they always get killed in Regionals by Dwenger.

I fell this could be Lowell's best team and definately their best line ever. Why no respect ??? They should at least be top 4 if not ranked top 2 in 4A.

Also, In other polls 'da region' gets no respect. Rennsalear is ranked 2nd and Merr 7th but no other region team is ranked (outside of 4A)

How is there no region respect when they have 3 region teams in the top 10????

Lowell is 7 because they lost the Big Tuna and Grubbe, that is all people are considering right now. If Lowell is as good as you say, the respect in the polls will come.

3 in the 4A Top-10 is a lot better than I expected....

Morton ahead of Plymouth is an honor...and I'm surprised to see Griffith there...

Freak is right......hard to claim 'no respect' when we have 30% of the teams...

Ok..I am always respectful to Lowell..if anyone has ever read any post of mine pertaining to Lowell you will know how much of a believer I am of the program. I think until proven otherwise Lowell and Dwenger are the favs up North. That being said..and PLEASE..don't take this as a knock on Juarez..because I think the world of his abilities, and his brother I thought was the best LB in his sr. season when there were several great ones..and I think little Juarez is another great LB..but until I see him carry the pigskin an awful lot..it's hard for me to believe that the offense will move the ball like they did in the past couple years..Defense should be stout..and by no means am I saying they won't be a good offense..it's just you think they take a step back after losing Grubbe. Skaymay and Migett are gone as well are they not? Lowell could very well be in the finals again this year..but I can see the media saying they might not be as good with losing allstate RB..track star QB..and one of the best coaches in the state..You know coach Kennedy wouldn't care if you were ranked..they mean nothing..you know also when the AP, and Coaches polls come out Lowell will be in the top 4 in both..don't sweat it junior11..you will get your respect, and you will have opportunities galore to go out and take the respect pal...no worries.

This my first post ever on this forum.Although I have been lurking for many seasons and I hope that I might be able to offer some insight on Red Devil football.Cole Migett is in fact a senior this year.He will carry the ball from the back field, as well as his normal wideout spot.

oh Cole IS back. I thought he was a sr. last year. That certainly won't hurt having him back. Everyone loves a good Midget..and Lowell has a very good one. That makes a dangerous combo then in the backfield.

I bought one last year and it never made it to the front door. Paul said it was shipped but It never saw it. (maybe it did and someone stole it from the front porch)
