I've got wood. That was a dominating performance against, arguably the best team in hockey on the road lat night. Khabi has to be the guy down the stretch.

Kane should trade in his Easton composite stick in for a new Prada purse. The kid is getting rocked every game and now he is "really" afraid to go into the corners. I know he has skills but he coasts when he does not have the puck, cries whenever anyone touches him, and refuses to stand in front of the net. Buck up Mary!!!

I think Kane is injured more than a lot of people think. Sidney Crosby missed like 48 games with a high ankle sprain. Kane only missed a couple, but I think that is what is messing his head up as much as anything.

you are asking an awful lot from a 19 year old kid, 5-9 160lbs (and thats probably generous). If teams are taking runs at him, and they should, it's good strategy, then his teammates should protect him. There are guys on that roster who are there for primarily that purpose. Kane's not built to be a physical presence.

Couldn't agree more, Moose, years ago the high priced, smaller talent like Gretzky and Savard were off limits. If you hit them, you paid the price. Guys like Secord and Behn Wilson would take someone's head off if somebody took a run at Savard or Larmer. The Hawks need to step up and protect guys like Kane, Toews, Sharp and Havlet. They really don't have the "enforcer" type out there.

I never claimed that he was built to be a physical presence. Not for a house squirt league and not for the NHL. If the kid is going to be a true goal scorer in the NHL, he MUST be willing to stand in front of the net or have his bell rung in the corners while trying to make a play. Teams know that the kid is soft and are taking runs at him. Watch and you will see. When he senses someone is bearing down on him, he almost always coughs up the puck. I want the kid to prosper! We will need him if we are going to make a playoff run. Unless he grows a set, he will become the second coming of Tyler Arnson. DETROIT SUCKS!!!

Hawks are struggling right now, hopefully they will be able to turn it around come playoff time.

I am still worried about the goalie situation, I don't trust Huet at all.
