As those in his era continue to come out as steroid users, will this effect his chances of making the Hall of Fame. Anyone out there think he is a first time entry? I think he probably should but this steroid thing might even effect him & he isn't even linked to them.

He should definitely be a first ballet entry. He was always big, he played college football at Auburn. He has over 500 homeruns, a career average over .300, a great on base % among other categories. If those 3 years of injuries didn't cut his season short, he may have very well been close to if not over 700 homeruns. I actually met him a few times, and he is an incredibly nice guy and very humble.

He will be in. I just really hope he was clean.

Definately will get in. He is generally thought of as a clean player. He was as muscular as a rookie as he was in his 10th year. the weight he did gain was around the middle, which is where us fat guys usually put it.

This may help him get in earlier than he otherwise might, as his natural numbers become that much more impressive playing in the steroid era. Not sure first ballot, many writers withhold votes for 1st year guys to keep first ballot HOFers 'special'.

i imagine he's clean...that's the REPUTATION he has with other players apparently. I doubt anyone is gonna lie for him...
